Will Digital Startups Fail or Succeed? Find out in this Malta forum

[UPDATED]

David Drake, Chairman of LDJ Capital and The Soho Loft Media Group, speaks at the CC Forum Blockchain, AI & Digital Innovation in partnership with Malta AI & Blockchain Summit

Blockchain crypto startups, investors, policy makers, private and institutional investors, venture firms, family offices, and global thought leaders will converge on May 22 to 25, 2019 at the Hilton Hotel in St. Julian’s, Malta to participate in this much-awaited event.

LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake is one of the keynote speakers. More recently, David Drake is also seen as a leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency. He saw the value of digital assets when it was still unpopular. It all started in 2011 when Drake collaborated on the JOBS Act to create new laws underlying all fundraising in the U.S. for all ICOs. He runs a $200M LDJ Cayman Fund focused on cryptocurrency, mining, and ICO acquisitions. LDJ Capital Credit also offers middle market bridge financing to seed upcoming ICOs. Previously, he held a majority stake as a Managing Partner with Robert Hambrecht in an Alternative Energy Fund NewCommons Capital 2009-2010.  Drake says, “This forum will explore how blockchain could potentially solve environmental issues. Additionally, it will highlight how it’s continuously disrupting the world of finance.”  The three-day forum will feature panel discussions, fireside chats, workshops, investors’ hub, inspirational keynotes, and a gala dinner. A sunset cruise ship party will conclude the event. Some of the topics up for discussion include what will the future of the fintech industry look like, is the global decentralized financial system a possibility or a utopia, will cryptocurrencies fail or succeed, blockchain beyond the hype, have the industry matured for mainstream institutional investment, and the future of money.
The other forum speakers include: Dr. Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister, Government of Malta
