Exploring the New Frontier of Securities in this Chicago event

David Drake, Chairman of LDJ Capital, speaks at the Trading Show Chicago 2019 organized by Terrapin.com

Entrepreneurs, investors, financial experts, exhibitors, trading firms, venture capitalists, and blockchain and crypto enthusiasts converge today for the Trading Show Chicago 2019 at the Lakeview Terrace in the Navy Pier in Chicago, Illinois, and will end on May 9, 2019.

LDJ Capital Chairman David Drake is one of the panelists for this event. More recently, David Drake is also seen as a leader in blockchain and cryptocurrency. He saw the value of digital assets when it was still unpopular. It all started in 2011 when Drake collaborated on the JOBS Act to create new laws underlying all fundraising in the U.S. for all ICOs. He runs a $200M LDJ Cayman Fund focused on cryptocurrency, mining, and ICO acquisitions. LDJ Capital Credit also offers middle market bridge financing to seed upcoming ICOs. Previously, he held a majority stake as a Managing Partner with Robert Hambrecht in an Alternative Energy Fund NewCommons Capital 2009-2010.

David Drake says, “In the aftermath of the crypto crisis in 2018, we are now seeing more companies with working products that are bringing in revenues and have complied to the standards. I believe that stricter compliance with the SEC and FINRA guidelines help ensure the legitimacy of a product and prevents fraud.”

The two-day event features an exhibition with associate companies, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and free seminars. Some of the topics for discussion include the volume of capital raised in the crypto space, crypto derivatives, new token offerings, trading strategies with AI, liquidity in the crypto market, and crypto trading. Attendees will have networking opportunities throughout the whole event.
